The board will play a key role in working alongside the State Director to advise, connect, and help fund the movement to make Bible education available to all 50 million public school students nationwide.
As an advisory board member, you’ll participate in quarterly meetings to provide strategic guidance, receive updates, and offer feedback. You’ll also help recognize key communities, organizations, and opportunities to support LifeWise’s statewide growth. Ongoing input to the Statewide Director—especially around strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats—is essential.
You’ll play a key role in expanding awareness by introducing stakeholders to the LifeWise vision and connecting them with the State Director. Use your network to engage influential community leaders and encourage their involvement through events like Lunch n Learns, LifeWise 101s, or direct meetings. When possible, represent LifeWise at state events and help build political support by engaging high-profile leaders.

*Note: Each member must provide the contact information of a local church leader in which he/she is an active participant. While we recognize that there are sometimes legitimate reasons to be “between churches,” LifeWise is fundamentally a local church driven ministry and it is, therefore, important for Steering Committee members to be representative of local churches.
