Meet-Ups are held twice a year in locations across the country, bringing program directors and teachers together to strengthen one another in ministry. Led by LifeWise program leaders, these times of fellowship provide space to build connections, exchange practical ideas, and encourage one another in reaching students with the gospel. Whether through impact stories, fresh insight for daily challenges, or renewed vision of the big picture, Meet-Ups are designed to refresh, equip, and inspire those serving on the front lines.
A: Yes! Both program directors and teachers are invited to join either an in-person or virtual Meet-Up.
A: There are several locations listed on the registration form. Select the one that works best for you!
A: At in-person Meet-Ups, directors and teachers gather at the same location but spend their time learning and connecting in separate spaces within their own role groups. Virtual Meet-Ups are also role-specific with separate virtual gatherings for directors and teachers.
A: Meet-Ups offer an opportunity for teachers and directors to meet in person, providing a unique platform to connect and share ideas.
A: If you are volunteering to host an in-person Meet-Up, both a program director and a LifeWise-certified teacher must be identified and willing to host at the same location. For a virtual Meet-Up, either a program director or a LifeWise-certified teacher may host independently, as virtual Meet-Ups are hosted separately.
A: Thank you for volunteering to host a Meet-Up! Please check your LifeWise email for a confirmation message indicating whether you were selected to host, along with all the details for the Meet-Up event.
A: The Meet-Up agenda will be sent to your LifeWise email. If you’re unable to locate it, please submit a support ticket.
A: Program directors can find registered attendees visible in The LIST. Click “My Program” and scroll down to find the Event Participants button. You’ll be able to select the Meet-Up event and view registered attendees. Teachers hosting a virtual Meet-Up will have the registered attendees emailed to their LifeWise email weekly leading up to the event, with a final list the night before.
A: As the host, please prepare two welcoming spaces—one for program directors and one for teachers—arranged in a roundtable style so everyone can easily see and engage with one another. Use the registration list to plan seating, provide clear directions or signage (or greeters) to help attendees find their way and test any needed A/V or technology before participants arrive. Light refreshments are optional.
A: If you’re facilitating a virtual Meet-Up, follow these instructions to set up the Google Meeting.
