Upper Arlington students in Kindergarten - 12th grades have the opportunity to participate in LifeWise Academy. LifeWise Academy is a free and optional Released Time Religious Instruction (RTRI) program allowing students to attend off-site non-denominational Bible-based classes that emphasize character education. LifeWise Upper Arlington adheres to both federal and state laws and has been successfully operating in the district since 2022.
All LifeWise Upper Arlington personnel undergo an extensive background check including BCI/FBI (+ fingerprinting) and complete child safety training. In addition, all LifeWise Upper Arlington teachers receive comprehensive teacher training as well as BLS/CPR and epipen training.
Elementary students attend LifeWise during their non-graded Explorations time. Middle School and High School students attend once a week during lunch.
