How Citywide Works

LifeWise CityWide opens the door for every neighborhood school and local church to be a part of the LifeWise movement.

In a typical rural or suburban LifeWise program, one Program Director is assigned to each school district to coordinate with school administrators, churches and the community while overseeing teachers and volunteers. The LifeWise CityWide initiative centralizes many administrative efforts to reach students in large, underserved, inner-city school districts.

How CityWide is Organized

• A CityWide Director coordinates with the school district (superintendent and board), church leaders
  and community leaders to coordinate the overall program.
• Area Directors, under the leadership of the CityWide Director, coordinate with area school administrators
  and multiple site coordinators to oversee the logistical and financial operations of several programs.
• Program Site Coordinators work at each host site with neighborhood churches, volunteers and teachers to
  administer the program.
